I had a great time in Hawaii. Didn't get very tan though - It was partly cloudy everyday, but nice and warm. We did lots of - - - eating! Aaargh!
We also went surfing, scubadiving, and had a helicopter tour of Mauii. ]That was awesome!!!! I shopped for trinkets and clothing.......... I read a couple of interesting books : the latest by Kathy Reichs called, T is for Trespass, and a book by an author ( Eugenides ) called, Middlesex. Middlesex was a very interesting book about a hermaphrodite, and spanned 3 generations in a Greek family from Detroit. I highly recommend it.
We stayed at the very posh, Hyatt Regency in Ka'anapali. The lobby of the hotel was open air, and housed tropical birds, as well as penguins and the largest carp I have ever seen anywhere! It was incredibly beautiful. If I can - I'll post some pics I took..........maybe.......

We came back to a foot of snow, and my never-ending quest to lose 10 lbs.........
