All languages!

Hi there, It's been a while!
I had never ever said anything about the love I have for languages, did I? I was thinking about all the things I could share with SG community, and I realized I have never split the word about this. I can not consider it a skill, but since I was little I'm self-taught. I've always preferred having my own initiative rather than formal instruction and that's how I read and speak English (even tho I ain't fluent).
My mother tongue is Brazilian Portuguese. In public school we do not study other languages, but with the internet and games I was able to study by myself since I was a kid. These last months I'm studying Japanese (which is my passion), Spanish and Esperanto. Someday, hopefully I'll study German and get fluency in every language I'm studying today. And today for the fist time I got in duolingo and I'm already in love with it.

The most difficult language for me to learn, you may ask... Spanish. Really.
Even with the similarities with Brazilian Portuguese I can't fucking read spanish. It's been a nightmare. But as an latin american I really need to be able to speak this demonic tongue.

Mi estas lernanto esperanto kaj estas tre facila lingvo. Mi komencis lerni Esperanto at februaro. Mi havas amuzon ĉar formi frazojn estas unu defia kaj mirinda. Estas TRE facil!
And fun! But I don't have much practice yet, so I make lots of mistakes. Learn Esperanto it's pretty easy if you have internet and 20 minutes a day for studying. And they have their own social network, where you can train your Esperanto with people who speak the same languages you do (the link is for the EN version).

My Japanese is the worst. I basically know how to say I'm feeling something, if I'm hungry or thirst and properly introduce myself. I'm familiar with Hiragana and Katakana, but Kanji I know just a few. It's really hard and I don't have anyone to correct me or talk to me, but still is the one that I love most learn new stuff. Hard as fuck but it pays itself. Learn new things it's fun and when you finally can speak or make sentences I really can't say a better reward than this. The German sentence construction is very funny. You can say: Ich liebe es Sprachen zu lernen. Or: Sprachen zu lernen liebe ich. - I love to learn languages.

@bloodywing German really scares me, because of the pronounce and all the different phonetics (which we don't have in latin american languages). So I'll start learning it when I finish at least spanish and japanese.
