we actually ended up going to Carpentaeria instead.. it was a great little beach town! Santa Barbara; You MUST eat at wood stocks in Isla Vista. You MUST shop on State street. You must visit the mission. It's beautiful. Um.. if I think of more, I'll let you know.. it's a GORGEOUS town. Worth the 100 mile drive! (I'm 140 miles away from sb!)
