good morning, afternoon, and evening.



school is back in session.
reading copious amounts of material constantly.
i am taking some interesting courses
i wish i could devote all of my time to them
but
there are others, too, so dull and seemingly irrelevant



new york is starting to feel like my second home,
i seem to wander there so often for various things.

last weekend i arrived very early. 5 a.m.. just how i like it.



decided to explore brooklyn

i got to the brooklyn bridge at sunrise




(interesting timing on that last one)

then wandered all over the brooklyn bridge park



rode water taxis around for hours to random locations.
enjoying being lost and the wind in my hair.





hit up the brooklyn museum!

i'll take one huge black mirror and one koma ba mask, please.





at this point my phone died, so the photos shall cease.

but i did explore the brooklyn botanical gardens which were absolutely splendid
i only had about an hour and a half to peruse
i'll have to go back for more, next time.

speaking of new york
this picture of me popped up in the september issue of inked from the metal party back in july

good times, that was.
i guess that technically makes three little magazine appearances for the summer.
not too shabby

power of the riff was pretty rad.
saw coffinworm, repulsion, winter, and sunn.

good shows coming up in pittsburgh, too:
caspian, converge, earth, weedeater,
and albums!
converge. ufomammut. NEUROSIS. (!!!!!!!)

brain drawing blank.

pumpkin flavored everything season.
halloween season!

my all time favorite pumpkin beer, screaming pumpkin, is no more.
RIP, michigan brewery.




i am in dire need of lightbulbs.
