Birthday round-up!
I was taken to Medieval Times . . . I feel like I was bought tickets to a little kid's movie and had to act like it was genuinely gripping and action-packed. I had a good time overall, but I think it's funnier to go to Medieval Times in theory than it is in practice.
Third favorite thing about the trip: they gave out wet-naps after the meal.
Second favorite thing: The knight who won the tournament paraded around the ring waving the American flag.
Best thing ever: After the show, as you walk out of the arena and into the lobby, just past the gift shop is a little square surround by flashing strobe lights. There's a DJ set up playing bad techno music while everyone stands around and looks at each other. Just like in . . . Medieval Times!!
