I read it. I read it and I felt remorse for myself. It felt like that moment when you know you no longer matter, but are still there for the extent of the journey just for kicks. It was a realization that what is left of me is the one grain of sand hovering in a palm waiting for the wind to throw me into the shifting dunes fifty feet away. I read it, and that's what I felt.
