The first rehearsal was today--second rehearsal tomorrow--third on Wednesday--the show is Sunday. I'll put details here as soon as I know them, for anyone who is interested. It went pretty well, but we're a little short on actors so I'll probably have to perform in it too.
Meanwhile . . . I started a new short story the other day. I kind of like it--it's a bit of a crime caper. I've never written anything of that sort before. My friend told me yesterday that I was "prolific." I told her she just didn't realize that this writing jazz is all I do--I can barely afford to do anything else, so on Saturday when everyone else is gettin' rrrrrrripped, I'm sitting at home writing comics. Or skits about karate chops.
Dude! I ordered a futurephone today. It will finally feel like the 21st Century as I take pictures and immediately publish them on the internet. I'm so taking it to the nerd prom with me.
