I'm EXHAUSTED. I went to see Stella at the Logan Square Auditorium and it was the most poorly organized show I've ever seen. Folks didn't get inside until an hour and a half after the show was due to start, the line branched off in three different conflicting directions, and I think I actually suffered a broken heart when I got inside and saw there were no chairs involved at all. It's a comedy show dude, I want to sit down!
The sound system was crap and the boys seemed a little distracted. But I was standing up in the balcony and they walked right by me on their way out to the show. I was way more excited than I should have been. Nerd up!
On the work front: our own shazb0t sent me awesome character designs and a fantastic first page of a comic project we're kicking around. If he's okay with it I'll put the designs up in my pictures soon. The more I see, the more I want him to draw an enraged Abe Lincoln. I talked to Cincinnati Josh earlier about another comic book I'm doing and he has layouts done for the first three pages--he says he'll have a lot to show around at the Nerd Prom here in Chicago next month. Summertime makes me think of comic shows, and I can't wait.
So except for dance party on Sunday (supporting the Bloque, you know) I'll be writing comics and such all weekend. Delilah will keep me on track. But first I'll go look at the nekkid girls.

I've left the company, by the way - next time you want to tell Deb off you'll have to do it yourself. I'm working for a web software company downtown now. Yay!
Good luck with the comic... I have a friend that will be shopping something around the show next month, too... It's based on characters that started in the album artwork for my last band, so I'm excited for him. My band may never be famous, but if my likeness is a comic character, I'd be pretty jazzed about that.
Peace - RT
