So recently my mom has had hip surgery on her right side. It is said she will eventually need her left side done. She had to stay in the hospital longer to recover because they stretched a nerve during the surgery causing her leg from the knee down to become paralyzed with shooting and burning pain in her foot.
She was moved to rehab but she's not getting any better, nor worse. She has to lay in bed and keep her foot braced abover her heart at all times and can't turn her leg at all. They told her if her body can't recover right away it may take up to a year or she may never be able to use her foot again.
The thing that's scary is what if this happens on her second surgery.

I'm nervous for her. I wouldn't want to have to walk in a walker especially after spending thousands of dollars on a surgery that wasn't 100 percent successful.
And I can't believe I forgot to post this on my last blog. Me and my Wicket. And yes, it came out the year the movie did bitches.
