Sorry for the lack of updates the "President" was in town so my days have been more than busy.

We greeted him in San Jose, Stanford and Sacremento and had quite a fantastic amount of fun.

Check out some of the pics at

Big moons, water drops and burning mountains.

With a heavy mind I left for the mountains
To places that still stand eternal against the blowing winds of time

On the way we find out we have to turn around
We end up in a church parking lot
Three basketballs sit unattended
We stop and play like we were kids on a playground
The place suddenly...

sorry I didn't make it today. getting out of bed was really hard. and then the boy bribed me with french toast with strawberries. I was powerless.

also: I bought some plantains. I will experiment and figure out how to cook them. I will report back.

in addition: any words of advice for applying for positions at global exchange? not sure if I'm going to, just wondering.

Still not stellar today but a few quotes tot leave you with.

Our time here is magic! It's the only space you have to realize whatever it is that is beautiful, whatever is true, whatever is great, whatever is potential, whatever is rare, whatever is unique, in. It's the only space.

~Ben Okri

Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and rightdoing,
there is a field. I'll...

My friend and fellow radical Chelsey Shillington died in a car crash yesterday.

She was an amazingly bright light in an already darkened world. Chelsey touched everyone who ever had the pleasure to be in her company.

She will be sorely missed.

belljar:
how sad. I'm so sorry for your loss. sending you a huge hug.
calixte:
Sorry to hear that.

*hugs, hugs hugs* kiss

Well my funk has officially ended thanks to all for the warm comments some updates from the past few days.

Friday - went to the craziest restaraunt I have ever been to. We drank out of huge vases, were given menus but then told what we were going to have based on our personality, were surrounded by flashing lights, and the owner/waiter played chess with...

I'll definitely shoot my resume over... just been brushing up my cover letter a bit. I also need to be definite about Canada... if I'm leaving in 6 weeks, I don't wanna take a new position- that would kinda suck for them, and I'd feel bad

I'll keep you updated with what AW is doing... apparently the ecuador people are going to start doing rallys/actions, and they're having an open meeting so I figure I'd check it out. their DoA is the 26 of April, with an action in Berk during the day and one in SF in the evening. I'm starving for that kind of thing these days, so I'm jumping at every chance.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL day out today and I think I am go to go out and enjoy it. I can already hear the birds calling for me. While the revolution won't be televised it will definitely be outdoors.

Not to leave you all with nothing to do a short quiz from my favorite movies and tv shows.

I saw the amazing bell hooks last night who has reinvigorated my desire to take down the patriarch, capitalist culture that we live in and to take the time to dream and re-build the world.

I am thinking again about why people aren't moving, why we aren't all up in arms saying "no more, no more will you control my life, no longer will my...

A day in the life of me (the short version - long political poetic ramble likely to follow at another tiume)

12:00 am - Midnight swim in the ocean. Laying on my back waves crashing all around me. The glistening stars above.

8:00 am - Prepare for action at 1:00. Go to pick up huge oil barrels, helium tank, signs and other props.

12:00 pm...

An Ocean Swim at Midnight

I spread my arms and feel infinite.
The world wrapping its arms around me,
Till there is no ocean, no me
Just the boundlessness
Limitless and beautiful
Perfect and serene

I close my eyes and feel one with existence herself
I open them to the sky
The stars hovering above
A smile dots my face
I feel life breathing all...

A love letter to no one in particular but love itself:

My heart is yearning for a dream
soaked in rain drenched skies.

A dream that can somehow make my arms to wings
to carry my heart that is heavy with thoughts to you

Today is one of those nights, lonely with seconds
that tick by with the silence of endlessness.

If I said I...
