It's cool at least you had a big party with lots of people in attendance. If you want to hang out with me and my boyfriend when you are traveling, that would be cool. We have a great Xbox setup 
all i have to say is that i have learned my lesson never to book a show on holloween weekend when so much things are going on. the turnout could have been alot better, but it was a fun show and at least some people showed up. we raised like $400 and $60 in book sales, at least we raised enough to fix the heat...

In answer to your question, I think I just saw flyers around and the information on First Ave's website. Went in part cuz it was a Hurricane Katrina benefit (and cool that it was presented by Arise!, if memory serves), and just cuz I wanted to go to First Ave on Friday. I really really like all the bands I heard though. Thanks for putting it together!!!

ok so i should probably update this...the show i have booked in the entry was originally going to be an arise! benefit but last week in the wake of the hurricane disaster we collectively decided to make it a benefit for hurricane relief efforts instead, as arise! is not doing nearly as bad as the people in new orleans who lost EVERYTHING. it's obviously still...
