wow so today totally fucking sucked at work...god damn it was bad. the people were fucking assholes and just lying through there god damn teeth, those mother fuckers. ok so yesterday we were canvassing in this really low-income neighborhood where all of us have been bombing and not making quota at all...i was working with someone and happened to get all the right doors, raised $295 and my partner raised $30. so i give him one of the many $60 checks that I mysteriously got that night to be nice, cause he is just pissed i am doing so well and he is bombing. then we get back to the car and my friend and co-worker also got his ass kicked, raised $6, and he was on an "action plan" which means he missed weekly quota last week so this week instead of getting our base pay of $80/day, he takes in 2/3's of what he raises, so he will get paid $4 dollars for that hell of a day. so i felt really bad and being the nice generous guy i am gave him a $60 and a $36 check. Leaving me with $139 (daily quota is $120 for me). I gave him the money on the condition that he help me out when i need it really badly, and today was it. today was the last day we were fundraising so it had to be it pretty much... we were in a more "progressive" neighborhood where these people definately had money, no doubt about it, but were giving the same god damn responses and just being total fucking asshole jerks. so i end the night with $65 and hope that my friend blasted so he could help me out. and he fucking stopped canvassing saying he was "sick" which is such bullshit. i know he was not sick at all for a fact. i don't know that just pissed me off because i felt he was obligated to at least try today to make quota...so now in a few weeks when we start fundraising again i'll be on an action plan when i should have been in bonus land. i will never donate my donations to fellow canvassers again! fuck that shit...
