Thanks to everyone for the well wishes. I'm feeling better than I was yesterday, but I'm still coughing a lot and can't talk at all. If I had to get sick, at least the timing was pretty good. We spent Thursday and Friday completely tearing down the store and shipping everything out. I've had yesterday and today off. I'm off tommorow also, but I have to go in breifly to do the Monday morning reports.
I did manage to take enough cold medicine on Friday to gather enough strength to go out. I went to that VoodooBeach party that I talked about in my last journal. To be honest, it was nearly a total bust. There was just a bunch of dudes there so no bikini/wet T-shirt contests. I was in a costume contest though by default. I came in last.

Chris Cook. It was his party. I don't know the guy that well but it was pretty obvious that he was very disappointed in the severe lack of people. He asked me and Skythe if we knew where to get some X for some guy that was at the party. We couldn't help. I don't know why the guy wanted X at that sausagefest anyway.
Later on after I lost the contest (I mean after the Masked Asshole lost), there was a raffle. Cook kept calling out numbers but no one had the ticket. It was getting pretty uncomfortable so on the next number I ran on "stage" screaming (as best as I could) "I got it!! I'm a winner! WOOOO!" My ticket number was close enough.
She won too.
That's the dude that won. Ya ask me, I should have won. My hat is taller.

We (me & dave) went to a costume contest at this little bar/club a couple years back and we won second place as a lioness and lion tamer hehe. arent costume parties fun? we lost to a couple of nerds who were batman and darth maul. they HONESTLY had the costumes from the movie set i think. must've costed a billion dollars. so i guess they deserved the first prize.
