I finally got to watch the film Capote today. I loved it as I knew I would. It really got me to thinking. I thought about things. It didn't relate to the movie so much. It got me to thinking about myself. About my own writing. I have things sitting around, just collecting dust. I am now wondering how good those things are.
The previews for Capote were Mission Impossible 3 (understandable since Hoffman is in it). The other ones were X-Men 3 and Big Momma's House 2. Three sequels.
During Capote, the film that I've been waiting for over two years to see, this one guy's cell fucking phone went off three times and this one old couple kept whispering through out the wholt thing.
Sure, they were keeping quiet, but they were still on my row so it was distracting. His wife was asking things like, "So, who is that guy? What did he say? Why is..... Why did...."
The old guy answered them. Maybe he read the book, as I did. Maybe he should attend such movies alone, as I did.
Maybe he should have told her to shut the fuck up.
