Now, I am in no way condoning any act of sexual abuse but the bottom line is, sexual expression is a very important part of our identity. History has shown us again and again that one of the most effective ways of control and oppression is through sexuality and the various forms it takes. I myself have experienced this again and again throughout my life from those ranging from lovers to even close family members. We should never forget who we are.
