I'm not a very religious person by nature but due to recent circumstances, I am reminded of the following:
"Give not that which is holy unto the dogs, neither cast ye your pearls before swine, lest they trample them under their feet, and turn again and rend you." --Matthew 7:6

P.S. - I really loved my long hair but I decided to do away with it as means to begin a new chapter of my life. I want to rid my life of misguided ideals and do the right thing, not just for myself but those I truly love and respect. The past is the past. I deserve to suffer for what I've done but I won't let that keep me from doing what I know to be the right thing. I'm not so selfish.
