I recently got told that I get overly invested in people. That I give my heart away too easily.
And while, I guess that is somewhat true... it also takes a lot to get me to really let you in. I hold a lot of people at arms length.

But what's is life without people? I can't be the lone type.
I feed off of people.
I need people.

So when I let someone in, and when they know that it's taken a lot, and then they abuse that fact. That's the worst

One day... people will stop letting me down.

If I don't, first, stop letting people in at all.
