Costume Parade fun times
Last Friday was the annual WCA costume show, and my work wasn't finished..... not that you can tell from the picture . It ends up being a glorified fashion show, of the costumes created by second and third year costume design and costume interpretation students... thats about 90 costumes altogether. On my course (Costume Interpretation) we make directly from designs done by other people.
CI2 made Victorian dress
CI3 (thats me) made costumes for 'The Enchanted Palace' exhibiton at Kensington, under the title 'Beauty and the Beast'
To be honest... I'm not sure what CD2 and CD3 were all about... I never do, it's that strange mix of arty farty meanings behind things and costume...

But anyways...
This is my parrot ballet costume in action on the catwalk. By the show at Kensington Palace in April it'll have sleeves and a suitable hat
