I decided it was new blog time..
For two reasons. No wait.. three:
1. There was too many comments on my last one, and as popular as that makes me feel... I decided it probably mean it was time to post something new.
2. It's 2010. My blog still says 2009. I can't bear to be THAT last year
3. I am procrastinating in a massive way.
And really you all know that reason #3 is the only one that applies, right?
I'm starting 2010 as I like to start most of them... hopeful that this year will actually amount to something. I have good things planned already, and I'm looking forward to getting back to London next week so exciting things can start happening!!
But can't help but feel like I have started the year with something missing...
My aims for the year sort of contradict themselves, because while I want to make sure I spend less money so I can finally start my half sleeve... I also want to make sure I start going to the theatre more often and not missing out on movies that I have been excited about for months before they come out (Along that vein of things... I still haven't seen Avatar!!).
The theatre initiative is off to a good start though. New years day was spent in London watching We Will Rock You for free, as a good friend of mine currently has a job there back stage. And we got a backstage tour afterwards too. When those photos appear on Facebook I will put them up here. I nearly wet myself with excitement in the Wardrobe dept, and I'm already dropping really unsubtle hints to her about needing a job in June...
So yeah... 2010 is also the year I graduate. The count down to midnight wasn't followed by a drunken cheer, but more by a horrified cry. I wasn't even that drunk anyways... and I almost got blown up by the Death Star as it fell from the top of the bonfire. (The guy who puts these parties on each year likes to out do his previous bonfire add-ons). There's a video of that somewhere. Again, I took no photos myself.
The idea of graduating is terrifying. I'm trying not to think about it.
I don't yet know if I am going to stay and try and work in London, or head back here to save some money up...
But... less talk of June and beyond.
January and February are looking to be fun, and are easier to focus on. I never was much of a long-term thinker....
And... here are some songs I love, just because. I'm too lazy to even make it songs I loved in 2009, though some of them are. It's just stuff I thought I'd inflict on you all.
It stemmed from me hearing Tom McRae - 2nd Law for the first time in forever and thinking OMG EVERYONE MUST HEAR THIS SONG. But... I'll spoiler the rest, because they look ugly and I got a bit carried away.

Okay, enjoy, I'm off to do some work....
And I am still sans webcam, and still feeling like I am missing a limb. The internet will be the death of me!

You are so lucky to see 'We Will Rock You' FOR FREE. I have still not seen that, like many other West End shows, as it is quite an expensive night out.
I hope 2010 brings you lots of happiness
