So last night me and my housemate made the ULTIMATE gay party CD for my friends birthday on Saturday.
It was awesome. Like... actually.
We spent as much time deliberating over the order of the songs as we did actually choosing them. It went from super camp, to gay disco, to 90's cheese, to dancy happy awesomeness and was all perfectly sorted so the songs worked together all the way through. We even worked Jackie Wilson in there. And an A Team remix (the one from Spaced)
It was amazing.
And then I accidentally clicked on the 'sort by album' option when I was going through it this morning.
Biggest fail of the week.
I nearly died.
So... right now I am half watching Independence Day, and half reconstructing the genius that was Now (that's what I call a gay party) 2009.
We're gonna photoshop a 'Now' style cover for it too. It's not like I have a Scale model box to be finishing for Tuesday....
But, we did test run the songs last night while we were making cakes for the degree show fundraiser. Footloose makes an excellent cake mixing rhythm, for future reference and the third years raised 100 for their show.
