i can't keep looking, i can't stop thinking, and everything i say is a lie. last rights read over a night set slowly as i walk myself closer to my own time. i seek out what i know i don't desire, everything i touch is potential fire. everything i taste is temptation gone wrong. i beg you to come closer, i push you down and pull you under, invite you in and shut the door. your mouth fights for words, and together we keep them all hidden, saved for times when we can call this done. we cry from completion and fight for involvement in a war not ours to create. we are rain and thunder on hot summers nights, i am light ripping across once peaceful skies. we are multiple in concept, everything and something more. bodies and fire, water and desire. our sweat keeps us closer and the heat of immersion has us wishing for more.
