so, my love fell off a ladder today, painting the eaves at his mom's house.

he points out that he did not fall "off" the ladder, he fell "with" the ladder.

either way, he's pretty lamed up...scrapes, bruises, bump on the head, etc.

i bet it took a year off his mother's life to watch him fall....glad i wasn't there.

stella, my supercool painter-colleague at the coffeeshop, left me a planter there that has three thai basil plants in it and one regular basil plant.

i am so happy. i love new plants.

going to see john and watch comedy central shows at his house (we don't have TV) for a while.
