thrift-shopping today, my day off. i really really must ruthlessly cull my existing wardrobe and get rid of some things which are super-cool but that i don't wear.
i scored a couple of vintage-stylie short sleeve button-downs for my love (spring's coming after all), an incredible garish yellow-and-brown doubleknit sport shirt with the widest fucking collar (i bought this for myself, but david, the little bitch, picks it out of the bag IMMEDIATELY and puts it on, so now i'm going to have to share it with him), and some vintage levi's gear...an old-school plaid button-down cotton shirt (those are cut/shaped to be SO flattering to boy physiques...my baby looks absolutely fuckilicious in it), and jeans for myself.
i do believe we're going out this evening...perhaps to check out what the backstreet pub has to offer as far as live music. we're poor, though, so i'm going to be drinking yuengling or PBR draft all night...$1.50 a pop...but at least i'll be doing it outside of the house.
