we went and had dinner with a lady that i work with and her husband...she's a super-cool painter and world traveler type who somehow ended up at the coffeeshop...
had two different kinds of homemade pasta, and then sat outside and made music and talked...a quiet, pleasant evening altogether.
then we went home...with a loaf of homemade bread and a bunch of ginger lilies, which are currently making my bedroom smell like heaven.
full and sleepy and happy.

i am back in VA
wilmington was so nice and relaxing
and i missed being in a bed
not to mention sharing one
now back to the lonely blow up mattress
