so, the windows are taped, the extra water is purchased, the flowerpots and garden dirt and whatnot from outside has been bagged up and brought in. also bought some books at the used bookstore so i'll have something to do with myself if i should be shut in for a few days.

actually, reading new (new to me, anyway) books while eating apples and peanut butter, shut up in the house while the hurricane rages outside, doesn't sound so bad to me.

provided the bad weather stays OUTSIDE where it belongs, and doesn't tear the roof off the sucker, or anything.
