tomorrow i have the day off, which makes me happy.

next week (the thirteenth, i believe), we're driving up to chapel hill/carrboro to go see tony rice...asked for and received the entire day off so i can make a four-hour-one-way drive and still have time before the show to do some thrift-shopping and go to CD Alley (no independent record stores where i live!!) and the Music Explorium. maybe i'll get to have lunch/dinner/coffee/whatever with some CH folks i haven't seen in a while...

i miss civilization.

i think i'm finally getting over whatever evil respiratory ailment i've had for the past two weeks, too...

wow, today i almost feel like my life doesn't suck.

even if i'm basically a 26-year-old glorified waitress, which makes me a big loser.
