By the way, being sad when things turn to shit is fine. It's much better than being numb or avoiding it. Take it from someone who fucks up royally and never mentions it outloud again. At least by being sad about it you recognise it. Also, you kmight have been sad, but you were proactive in trying to change it. So yeah.. you handled it the right way.
Everything does happen for a reason. That I'm sure of. Sometimes we don't know what that reason is until we've had time to think about it and process it all.

As for the daemon thingie. I can see how you are both passive and assertive. You have moments of both. I suppose this is where the fickle comes into it.
Fickle: "marked by lack of steadfastness, constancy, or stability : given to erratic changeableness" Perhaps this reflects that you change from passive to assertive given your situations?

Take for example when we go out. You are assertive when you need to be. At the first sign of trouble you will grab me and push me off the floor. At times like these (also remember the guy at Phoenix?!) You are confident, decisive, firm, forceful, forward, insistent, militant, self-assured, self-confident and strong-willed. These are all
synonymous with being assertive.

At times you can be quite passive, but I'm sure you would be aware of these times. Hell yes you are sociable and you are just as inquisitive as I am!!!
I don't think fickle is a bad thing. I think it shows that you go from one extreme to another. Passive and Assertive. That's all. Don't stress about it. At all.
