I'm going away with my family for xmas.
all the way to queen street in the city hahahaha. for the last 3 years i have refused to go anywhere for xmas so my parent got sick of it and are coming down to me! they got me a hotel room too, so it will be like a mini holiday 10 mins from my place. lol
for the first time in 3 years tho, I am kind of happy to be spending it with my family. With everything going on, them getting older and stuff, I guess I should make good use of the time I have with them. Maybe get to know them, cos I have only been using them as an ATM for the last 20 years or so. Maybe I am just at that age where it isnt so daggy or lame to hang out with them.
I have scored quite well this year for xmas, so much chocolate and gifts from my regular clients, it makes me feel special people take the time to do that, and realise I care about their dogs alot.
I also scored well in days off... was going to have to work boxing day but got out of it, so i have 4 days off, then i have 3 days for new years. YAY, even tho I am not doing anything but it will be nice to just chill.
anyway, I hope everyone has a safe, happy and lovely christmas break with whoever you choose to spend it with, filled with loads of awesome memories.

and look - one of my oldest friends is on the cover of a tattoo mag! lol if you saw how I knew her in highschool you would never believe it was her! pretty exciting tho, and so glad we have changed from the lame hervey bay hicks we once were. im jealous she has more tattoos than me, i was the first one to get one hahaha.
even tho i don't talk to her as often as I used to, I'm still happy she is succeeding at something she obviously enjoys!
