i hate it when people think they can stay and watch when I am clipping their dog. and then get shitty about it.
here is what I wanted to say:
no, you cant fucking stay. i understand that i'm giving your "baby" a haircut and it is very scary leaving your "baby" with someone else but ITS MY FUCKING JOB. how would you like it if I came in to your work and sat beside you and watched you while you work, getting in the way and disrupting what you are trying to complete. im sure you are very nice BUT I DON'T WANT TO BE STUCK IN A ROOM WITH YOU FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR. FUCK OFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF.
i'm glad I can usually get rid of them with the old workplace health and safety excuse...
there is nothing worse than having some neurotic owner watching as I clip their neurotic dog, while it's jumping to get to its owner and squealing and the owner is going "oh she is so scared" or "oh she doesn't like it".
more and more I am seeing that it is so true that dogs are a reflection of their owners.
oh, and a funny story, a couple came in for information on hand stripping their schnauzer... i got to talking and said "i have never stripped professionally" felt like a bit of a dick
