i think i am suffering from a post shopping-spree low.
i spent up big at bunnings and got some stuff to decorate our balcony (finally!). I got it all set up in preparation for the weekend... it looks pretty rad now... solar powered fairy lights and lanterns, bamboo-y/reed stuff to hide the view of the buildings below and a very warm heater for the cold nights. I also got a bbq but im not talking about that cos im annoyed at it for not having the right connection for the gas bottle and thus ruining my plans for a bbq breakfast.
it's an inner city bonfire! haha
Leo and Kate came over to have a bit of a dinner get together for Nic's B'day... i made too much food, and ate too much (there goes my chances of making my goal for the challenge now haha).
We also ate yummy cup cakes
nom nom nom. apparently I am weird because I eat the wrapper. its the best part, im not going to go and waste it.
then I cut leo's hair.... well.... i think it looks good... i dont think leo likes it, but hey it's a story to tell. stay tuned for photos when nicole gets round to uploading them.
today we went on a mission to find me a dress to wear to the formal dinner thing for the challenge. first dress i tried on was a winnah. i was pretty stoked that I was down to the same size I was in Year 12! thats pretty cooooool i must say. woot.
$200 later, here is my dress yayyyyyyyy
i look like a mammoth in heels. well i look like a mammoth without, but even more so with.
then the awesome mr leo installed my speakers that i have had for over 2 years lol. it's so much better listening to music thru them, than factory standard 10 year old speakers. then i went to JB's and got a subwoofer and amp, and seriously, if my car isnt bouncing off the road with the bass once it is installed, i will be pissed of. can't wait till they are in.... leooooooooooooooooooooooooo, what are u up to next weekend? lol. lol.
so a good weekend, but alas... my head isnt really with it... so i am going to listen to some jeff buckley and hope it stops being so stupid.
