I swear my friend has the easiest job ever. He sort of "manages" these tennis courts that are part of a community recreation facility, and he said he always had a lot of free time so I thought today I'd hang out with him for a while. Basically all he did during the entire shift (from 3-9 p.m.) was open the courts, pick up the little trash and stray tennis balls that were scattered about sparingly, and then close them at 9. Nobody showed up today to play tennis at all. Even when it's busy, all he has to do is make sure there aren't any disruptions to other players, and take fees if somebody were to want to play on the paid courts. So I'm way jealous. All we did was play Nintendo DS games in the shade, become amazed there there were still ice cream trucks in Jonesboro, and watch kids skateboard. He doesn't get a lot of hours or make a lot per hour, but that's the perfect part-time job, although it is seasonal because the courts are outside.
The DVD is hot, people. Buy it now. Well worth the $20 or so. The only complaint is that I wish it were a little longer and a little more substance, but it's great otherwise.
Gotta go now. Work early, long shift awaits. Ya'll know how it is.

i got an email from the site promoting the dvd. I guess they are really wanting to make money from it. I might invest in it on your word. I did watch the little 5 minute preview. seemed entertaining.
you know, the closest show they have is in Denton, TX, probably about 6 hours from here (though you'd have another 2 hrs on top of that.) if it wasn't going to be sold out, it might be an idea worth pondering...
