I just got out of court in Paragould a few hours ago, and the case the prosecutor dismissed, and the fine will be refunded shortly. I'm extremely happy. What exactly happened was my car got stuck on the bank side of railroad tracks, and the police had to stop the trains while they called a tow truck to pull me out. Evidently the railroad people get really pissed at this, and made an officer there write me a ticket even though he wasn't going to originally.
But it seems as though I'll get all $360 of that back (what a ridiculous amount to pay anyway) tomorrow if I choose to drive back there and pick the check up then.
I'm just glad the wait not knowing what was going to happen is over, but it seems as though everything turned out for the best. Whew.

the legal system did something right, what a shocker! and at least your car wasn't hit.
