Power has went off 2 times today, both for about an hour to an hour and a half. This ice storm is pretty sucky, I guess. When I went to class this morning, it didn't seem too bad, but I live really close to campus. I'm surprised that ASU wasn't closed itself, since every other school in the county was, and who knows outside of Craighead. Although, it seems as though ASU's night classes were indeed canceled. Maybe they were having power outage issues too.
I'm hoping there are no classes tomorrow. It'd be nice. Plus, having to scrape off ice from my car for 20 minutes kinda sucked. Would probably suck more if I lived in the north, but I don't and we're not used to that down here.
Anyway, yesterday I made some tacos, right? Well, the taco shells tasted really bad. Like sawdust. I don't know what can cause that kind of taste, whether it's bad oil or they're just old or what, but they were definitely inedible. Never had that happen before, and it's the same brand I usually get. Really annoying though. Thankfully I had some tortilla chips that I just mixed in with the rest of the stuff to have a taco salad type thing. Works for me.
