Finals are over finally. Final grades were posted today. This is what I got:

Bio Lab: A
Bio: B
Nutrition: A
Sociology: A
Spanish: A

What's sad is that I never opened the sociology and nutrition books except for maybe an odd definition here or there. Yet I still got As. I don't know if it's a testament to my intelligence or the lower standards of my school. There was quite a bit of grade inflation in those classes, though. The spanish class would have been the same ordeal, if it weren't for the fact that I actually like spanish and want to pursue it as a major. Otherwise I would've been able to skim through that class in the same fashion. I mean, our spanish final didn't even include any vocab or irregular verbs. A lot of the exam quests were repetitive and there were even bonus pts. available if we decided to conjugate "tener" and "venir" in the present tense (the only tense we've learned thus far). Those conjugations were going to be on the test itself, but the instructor felt it would've been too long. I don't know how that's possible when it took me all of 15 minutes to finish it. Really not kidding there. I know most of these are just Gen. Ed. classes so I do sincerely hope higher level are a bit more challenging, because I'm not going to push myself if I don't have to. That's also why I wait till the last minute to do my assignments. I realize that some fields will be more challenging than others, but I'll be glad to get my Gen. Ed. requirements out of the way, and that will happen next semester. Almost there.

I also registered for classes for next term. Right now I'm tentatively taking (pretty set on most of them, but the Space Science lab's meeting time is TBA, which may clash with my schedule, so I might need to pick another option there):

Intro to Space Science & lab
Elementary Spanish 2
Fine Arts Musical
Intro to Lit of the Western World 2

So, basically, mostly general education reqs. But they'll be over with now. I'm 2 hours away from being a junior right now, so it's going to take a while still before I'm able to fulfill the major requirements to graduate. It's kind of depressing, but I'm getting there.

Sold my books for $60, by the way. Pretty bad, considering I spent $400 on them. Although, I didn't sell my spanish book back since I'll use it for next term also, and it'd be a good reference guide to keep an eye on later. The whole book situation is insane.
