This presidential race is kind of stressful, no? I can't imagine what it is like for the candidates themselves, with the election only being a month away. But it's an important one. This will be the first presidential election that I will have voted in, so I guess it's kind of strange to be a part of one of those things that, as a kid, you never thought that you'd be a part of. I was old enough for the '04 election to vote, but admittedly I didn't since I at that point I didn't think that my vote would matter. I guess since them I've realized that it's important even if a single vote won't likely sway the state in favor of either candidate, since it means that you did what you could and you had the motivation to get out, educate yourself on the facts, and do your rightful duty as a citizen. I hope others (my age or younger) feel the same, since it's important we get these next 4 years right and start making steps to become the country that we're capable of.

I really hope that the general population looks beyond selfish desires and know that a little sacrifice from all will make a huge difference. No one (as a nation) has been asked to give up anything since WWII, and back then everyone rationed and sacrificed so the nation as a whole would prosper.

Saying this, i really hope my choice makes it into office.

and thanks for the words of encouragement. no word on things yet, but hopefully I'll hear something early next week.
