This is how a normal separation of two adults occurs. But not all people are really adults, many wear only a time-worn shell, hiding inside a child who is afraid, envious, offended or just doesn't know yet...

@amorous it’s a horned lizard “horny toad” as we call them here. They are critically endangered and this is the first one I saw in two years walking the trails.
