I'm watching "GhostInTheShell:Stand Alone Complex" on Adult Swim, late night cartoon network. It has all the sci-fi themes right but I forgot it does not have a movie budget so it is askew with some of its animation sequencing. Looks a bit weak at times, especially when trying to comvey the high tech internet potrayed in the series. Some scenes are great and then this lesser cell animation is used in spots. Why do they do that? Otherwise, its the usual convoluted storylines of high tech crime that keep it interesting.

I'm glad "DragonBall Z" is not playing as often. I tired of it way back. I hated it for its drawn out fight scenes where they talk aloud to themelves for couple of minutes while the other guy is winding up his "special" technique.

I miss having "Trigun", "FLCY" (Fooly Cooly), "Cowboy Bepop", and "SpaceGhost Coast to Coast" playing in the background.

I'd like a bigger, flatter, hi-def TV. I don't need it, just want it.
