Thanks to everyone who posted what they thought I should do about the wink awards and stuff, I'm going to just see what happens. Looks like half the band will be up in Sydney that night anyway. If I can get to the awards I will but I'm not going to if it makes getting to Meredith a hassle.
After having seen Public Enemy on Tuesday free of charge, I'm following it up with free Kool Keith tomorrow night! If any of you don't know him you should check him out, his stuff is truly incredible. God I love my job.
The other interesting thing that's been going on is a book that I bought yesterday and haven't put down since, it's about the great voyages of chinese fleets in 1421-1423 that mapped most of the world. The maps ended up in the hands of Spanish, Portugese and English explorers who then 'discovered' the americas, australia and other places. It's really fascinating, I haven't been this into a book for ages.
