Well I sure have taken advantage of being sick. On Friday night I went and saw the Moodists, they were freakin ace! It was kind of funny watching them on stage cause they all looked 20 years too old for the music. I was thinking about what it would have been like to see them 20 years ago not knowing how much influence they were going to have on the future of australian music. They did an encore and Kim Salmon got on stage and played with them for two songs. Dave was making jokes about Kim giving the best hand jobs in Melbourne. He also called my friend Gen a crack whore, which was nice.

Last night we went and saw SPOD! Warped and Riff Random. It freakin kicked everyone's arse out the door. SPOD have converted everyone in Melbourne this tour. It was great to see the Spodamatic dance team in action, cause they weren't there when we played with them (well just Brent) in Sydney. I bought a t-shirt and my sweet girly bought me a badge. It was incredibly well crafted, I've never seen a badge that well made Warped were very rock as usual and made everyone's ears bleed wo had the misfortune to not be wearing earplugs. I was sick and tired and kind of hot from wearing six layers of clothes and thermals so we went home. Eveyone else went off to Pony and Cherry and then back to Pony until six am and were very sorry looking today. I was spritly and well rested and am about to ruin that by staying up late to watch the gp and then go to work at 8.30 in the morning. Wish me luck!
