It's been another while since my last update. I've been busy as of late, which is a trend that I find that I'm still getting used to.... It's been a good month so far. Just yesterday, I attended a celebration held by my First Nation at my home reserve in Anacla (near Bamfield), on Vancouver Island. It was amazing, the seafood was fresh, the speeches were succinct but still powerful, and the music and dance was entrancing.

It is days like these that really make me feel as though I am part of a community in ways that I have not ever been since before I started interacting with my First Nation on a meaningful level. It's days like these that make me feel like I am, truly, home.

But yes, a good month.
