reprisal

So, my doctor told me that there's nothing wrong with my back in terms of the spine and all its minutiae. Which means it was (and kinda still is) a problem of either muscles and nerves. I figure it's a pinched nerve, and it seems to be getting better. This is good.

I ended up seeing a couple of movies in the intervening time. Children of Men was great, though the company left a bit to be desired. I enjoyed The Curse of the Golden Flower, a Chinese epic, though I think it has to do with whether you enjoy those types of movies. And finally, The Hitcher was a disappointment. Sean Bean was good, but it's not like he had to do much.

Other than that, not much else is going on. I'm reading, but then I'm always reading...
