Managed to close down the bar last night.......
I went out last night with my best friends from work. We went to a hometown bar, nothing special. I only paid for 2 drinks, the rest of the drinks I consumed that night were courtesy of my buddy's pitchers. Played some pool. Watched my dudes sing some karaoke (yours truly went onstage and sang "Walk). Left at about 2:45. This was the first bit of fun I've had since I've been off.
I have this thing about me when I am not working. I am okay with it for about three days. After the three days, I start to get bored very easily. Short attention span ? Or have I not learned how to completely relax while I am off ? Who knows ? Maybe someday I'll figure it out.
One thing I've tried to do while being off; staying creative. I started a pretty awesome project. Taking all of the footage I have shot of my brother's band and editing it into a small "documentary". That should be fun ! I made a few shorts prior to this, I enjoyed putting those together. I am in the middle of getting the footage together before I start editing.
Also tried writing. No luck....Don't know if it's writer's block or if I have lost interest in it ? I'll do that sometimes, I'll write for a period of time and then just stop. It's kind of annoying ! I have so much I want to put out there but I can't put it to paper. But yet, I can write a blog entry that very few (or none) read. Strange....
Well, I've ran out of shit to write about. Until next time........
