At 11 am on Friday; I officially started my vacation ! After the 2 and a half days of being "the boss", I need it.
My short lived stint as the boss, went alright. With the day and a half of training I had, I did my best. After being there for 5 years, it was cool to see the other side of things. Would I ever want to do it on a full time basis ? Fuck no. Unless your cut out for it, being the boss and or "in charge" is a lot of work. The stress is never fun either.
The one major thing that surprised me about last week; I didn't smoke or buy a pack of cigs ! Usually when I get stressed out real bad, I cave in and buy a pack. However, I was determined not go that route. I've been smoking since I was 16; I need to give it up. I think I am at the point now where I don't need them. Been thinking a lot about long term effects of things lately....
