Feeling a bit glum... Work is sucking as usual. I've rededicated myself after the news two weeks ago. Still in a bit of a funk over losing out on both of those opportunities. Can't entirely shake it. The support I get from my inside guy is ridiculous. He's been there almost 30 years and he's practically brain-dead. He just fucks things up and I always have to fix things. Which takes away from time growing business.

Also didn't help my cause by pretty much blowing off the month of May because I was pretty sure I was getting at least ONE of those offers. I wasn't really counting my chickens before they hatched but I certainly wasn't giving it my all either. Bah....

It's not an awful place to work. I work out of my home office, usually leaving around 9 or 10 every morning for some appointments. They don't require I show my face in the office which is about 40 minutes away in downtown Buffalo, (that's how far I live in the sticks). They want to see me maybe 2 or 3 times a week. So the flexibility is nice. I get Jake ready every morning and he leaves with the Mrs at 8 and then I get Leah on the bus at 8:45, then I either work or get on chat for awhile....usually the latter.
