Sorry, if I'm overblogging about this interview process, but it's beginning to get oddly interesting. Company #1, the Computer hardware manufacturer that wants me to cover the Southeast called me this afternoon and wants me to do a THIRD and FINAL interview next week. So next Friday, May 20th, they want me to make a PowerPoint presentation in front of five of their management team on why I should be the one they hire. About 15 minutes long, highlighting my career in the industry and what I would add to the team, career goals, personal goals, academic career, etc. The HR person told me it's down to primarily 2 candidates, me and some other schlubb. Hmmmmm..... I find it odd, but in this economy employers can make applicants do almost anything, and I am taking it as a challenge. I'm pretty good with PowerPoint, so I have a week to get this right. Gah.

Also, I am flying to Montreal Tuesday, May 24th for 2 days to meet with company #2's owners. Not sure how many guys they are going to fly up, but I am pretty sure about this company. I thoroughly impressed the president and CFO at the 2nd interview. I really think that job I AM PERFECT for, but it's the Northeast, and I was kinda looking forward to covering the South...hehehe.

I was doing some grocery shopping today, and I'm over in the frozen foods section buying some Lean Cuisines. There are also two old ladies there picking and choosing through the Lean Cuisines. One of them looks over at me and says, "Oh! You're on Weight Watchers too?" I was like, "Whaaaaaaaaa????". fuckin old ladies.... Alright, I'm going to the gym today!!!!!! Time for Repo to lean up...
