Well, the party came off without a hitch. She was surprised, the weather was superb, and we had a great turnout. Plenty of food, beer, wine and booze. It surpassed her expectations, which is tough to do. Yeah, high maintenance is an understatement when it comes to her. Heh....

The cleanup sucked. The last guests left at midnight and I went out back and spent another 2 hours cleaning up and tearing everything down. Then up early this morning with the kids.

One of her presents was a Maple tree. Yeah, a Maple tree. So we had to plant it today. Luckily our neighbor has a green thumb, so he helped us plant it. That was a tough 2 hours, but the tree looks great. Another two hours of gardening and landscaping work after that and now I am beat. Fried. Spent. Wasted. Done.
