Well, what a week. Went to Marineland yesterday with Leah and her 4-yr-old cousin, Connor. They are 3 months apart in age, and they just love each other so much. They're like twins. They were very good, although Leah is still going through that "bratty" thing. That's been fun. How long does this last? It's been 1-1/2 yrs. Wifie, the professional, tells me to have patience, it'll pass. I think Leah lacks discipline. Hmmmm.....
What else, oh yeah, I was down in the bowels of our warehouse this morning and I saw one of the biker dudes I know fairly well, and I said, "Hey, what's up Blair?", thinking he'd blow me off or give me a dirty look or kill me and he was pleasant and said hi and we chatted up a bit. I thought most of those guys would hate me for my suggestion to the boss, but the general feeling seems to be it's a job saver. 'Cept for 1 or 2 guys I heard of.
I'll be missing a certain someone at midnight tomorrow. So how are we going to insult each other? And how are you going to profess your love for me? I mean, really, it's for your sake, not mine...

Well, I'd say it was an effective demonstration that the Mennonites are among the three traditional "peace churches" (along with the Quakers, and River Brethren). Do that with members of most any other church and you'd probably get a more heated response. Frankly, (maybe because I'm a Quaker, but I doubt it) I don't find it funny, just obnoxious. In fact, I'd say it "lacks discipline."
