Last night: saw Bright Eyes at Harvard with Ben, Tried to bring Sarah, but tickets were hard to find. Good show. Tilly and the Wall were fantastic. Coco Rosie were really godawful. Connor did the most half-hearted stage trashing I ever saw. But overall, good show.
Tonight: date three with Sarah in five days. This is all moving really really fast. But not too fast. She's leaving for California for a week tonight, but is making time before her flight to meet me for dinner. She has already promised that she'll write me letters every week when I'm on the trail, and that she'll be waiting at Katahdin when I finish. I'm a little concerned about this, especially where I haven't had a relationship in five years.
Tell me, what's your experience with things that tumble together fast like this? Is one party usually more into it than the other? Does it ever work, or does someone get hurt?
