All the women at work talk about is how rich their boyfriends are, how much they want to find a richer boyfriend, and what happened on Popular Reality TV Show yesterday. My mother has a theory that what people do for work determines what they look for in a partner. I woirk in a bank, so it's money, money money. My mom works for a health insurance company and says the women there are overly concerned with fitness and appearance. People in higher education, she says, tend to look for people with intellectual status symbols, and people in elementary education tend to look for people who would make good parents. Interesting theory... I don't know if I buy it, but I like it... It supports my idea that work has far too much control over our lives.

Anyway, yesterday I found out that my secret crush girl at work (the one with the red hair and the badass boyfriend) owns a horse and hails from the coast of Maryland. That made me feel better, because it means she must be rich, and I really hate rich kids. (Also, I hate horses. I don't have anything against them personally, but I'm allergic to them. My throat swells nearly shut and I can hardly breathe, and my eyes get all puffy and itchy. Also, horses are bad because the second girl I ever dated worked as a groom at a stable. This was the girl who told me that drug dealer she hung out with was her ex-boyfriend, which was true if by "ex-" you mean "current"...) So anyway, now I can move on with my life knowing that I didn't miss out on the perfect woman.

Dude, It's OK to feel that way about horses. They are a good thing to direct your hate upon. Heh, I'm retarded, and tired...

...secret crushes never live up to your expectations. All too often, I would develop one and after weeks of infatuation, I would find out they smoked or something else offensive. Bleh!
