I am all registered for classes and school starts in about 3 weeks. I can't believe how excited I am to go back. I guess I need the mental stimulation, Warcraft just isn't cutting it these days.
My artwork has been all over the place lately. I'm hoping I'll get my act together within the next few weeks. I have a few great ideas a-brewing, but I don't know if I have the technical skill to carry them out. regardless I'm looking forward to my little art community coming back from summer break so I can get more feedback.
Other news:
I am really enjoying the vegetarian lifestyle. I feel much more healthy and I am eating a much bigger variety of food. I am thinking that I will go vegan within the next few months.
I also switched my dog to an organic pet food (Natural Life) which still contains animal products but they aren't the by-products/rejects included in major pet food brands. Rather, it includes organically raised chicken and no filler. Hobbes loves it!

do you study the fine arts? what type of art is your favorite to make?
Last semester I took a class on "Art in the age of Globalization" where I really ended up researching the politics of museum display and the myth of the "other" in Western thought and history. Extremely interesting.
